Criminal Law

Criminal law case briefs involve the prosecution of an individual, or party, for a criminal act.  Criminal cases differ from civil law.  A criminal law case involves the state prosecuting a person for breaking the law.  This is currently the category with the highest number of case briefs on this site.  Law school students are not the only ones to study criminal law.  Criminal justice students will also study the major cases.
